On October 5, 2025, Grassley wrote, “2day is day 5 of the Schumer Shutdown”. The following day, he reiterated the situation with a similar post: “2day is day 6 of the Schumer Shutdown”.
Later on October 6, Grassley addressed another issue related to federal judiciary oversight. He stated, “As part of Judic Cmte’s oversight of fed courts/judges I wrote to 2 judges abt their alleged use of AI 2draft court orders These orders relied on fake ppl+misquoted state law&more Fed judges shld b held 2the HIGHEST standard of integrity+accuracy”.
