The Senate Judiciary Committee has moved forward with two nominations for U.S. Attorney positions. Thomas Albus was approved as the nominee for United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, and Adam Mildred was approved as the nominee for United States Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana. Both nominations passed by a vote of 12-10.

The committee held an executive business meeting to consider these nominations. Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) provided an opening statement at the meeting.
