City of West Des Moines issued the following announcement on Apr. 1.
The City of Des Moines Public Works Department Forestry Division announced today that this year’s Tiny Trees Program has been canceled.
For residents who placed an order, there is nothing you must do at this time. We will reach out to you with more information as we determine if the event can be rescheduled later this year.
According Public Works Director Jonathan Gano, “It is with a sad heart that we have to cancel this increasingly popular event but we know it is the best decision for the health and safety of our community.”
