The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 2020 Inclusion Award nominations will include evaluations of how organizations demonstrated diversity, equity and inclusion in their responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.
The partnership presents the Inclusion Award to recognize employers “who have championed diversity and inclusion at their businesses and organizations and in the community,” said the DSM USA website.
The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s regional members or investors qualify for the Inclusion Award, said the DSM USA website.
An economic and community development organization serving Greater Des Moines, the partnership has over 6,500 regional business members, over 365 investors and 24 affiliate chambers of commerce, said the DSM USA website.
Deadline for submitting applications for the 2020 Inclusion Award is Friday, Aug. 21. Organizations may apply for the awards by filling out the form that’s available through the DSM USA website.
Finalization of the winner(s) will be by Friday, Sept. 11, said the award application.
