Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's 3rd district, has been active on social media discussing various legislative priorities. Nunn, who replaced Cindy Axne in 2023, has a background in the Iowa House of Representatives and the Iowa Senate. He graduated from Drake University in 2002 and currently resides in Bondurant.

On January 23, 2025, Congressman Nunn criticized federal bureaucracy, stating that "D.C. Bureaucrats sit in their ivory towers, demanding businesses comply with onerous red tape, without considering the burden it puts on businesses." He expressed his intent to collaborate with President Trump to introduce legislation aimed at reducing what he perceives as excessive federal overreach.

Later that day, Nunn addressed adoption costs by tweeting that "Every child deserves a loving home. Unfortunately, adoption is expensive - sometimes too expensive for a willing family to welcome a child into their home." He highlighted his involvement with the Ways and Means GOP Committee to advocate for making adoption more accessible.

On January 24, 2025, Congressman Nunn shared his new subcommittee assignments within the House Agriculture GOP. He announced via Twitter: "Excited to share my @HouseAgGOP Subcommittee Assignments: General Farm Commodities, Risk Management, and Credit Commodity Markets, Digital Assets, and Rural Development." He expressed eagerness to work alongside Chairman Congressman GT Thompson on passing a comprehensive Farm Bill.
