On January 31, 2025, Congressman Nunn acknowledged Edward Johnson as part of the Greatest Generation. In a tweet, he stated: "Edward Johnson is part of the Greatest Generation – a generation of patriotic Americans who put service above self every day. He deserves recognition for his service in World War II. I was honored to present Edward with his long-awaited medals today."

The following day, February 1, 2025, Nunn addressed the issue of balancing work and parenting amid daycare shortages. He expressed this concern in another post: "It’s hard enough to balance work with parenting, and the daycare shortage isn’t helping. Great to visit with daycare providers at the Stanton Child Resource Center and discuss my bipartisan work to increase access to quality, affordable childcare for Iowa families."

Later that same day, Nunn hosted a roundtable discussion focused on small business support in Shenandoah. He tweeted about this engagement saying: "Hosted a roundtable with small business owners and local leaders in Shenandoah today to discuss how we can help Main Street thrive! In Congress, I’m fighting to reduce red tape, improve access to capital, lower inflation, and improve infrastructure and internet access so small…"
