Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's 3rd district, has recently taken to social media to share his legislative initiatives and personal experiences. Elected in 2023, Nunn succeeded Cindy Axne and has been vocal about healthcare issues in Iowa, particularly the need for more medical professionals in rural areas.

On February 7, 2025, Congressman Nunn tweeted about his legislative efforts to address the shortage of doctors in Iowa. He stated: "We need more doctors in Iowa! My Train More Doctors Act will help bring more physicians to rural and underserved communities across our state."

The following day, on February 8, 2025, Nunn shared a personal moment on social media with his brother Canon. He wrote: "Canon is in the HOUSE! Great to get a little bro time with Canon this week while showing him how Congress works."

Later that same day, Congressman Nunn reiterated his focus on healthcare by emphasizing the importance of primary care doctors in rural communities. He tweeted: "Iowa needs more primary care doctors, especially in rural communities. My Train More Primary Care Docs Act will help expand residency programs to get more physicians where they’re needed most."
