Congressman Zach Nunn, who represents Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, posted a series of updates on September 12, 2025, highlighting his recent legislative activities and engagements with constituents.

In a post commemorating the anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Nunn stated on September 12, 2025: "24 years on, we remember the heroes who stood in the breach and ran towards danger to save our fellow Americans. I'm proud to cosponsor the Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act to ensure first responders who develop service-related illnesses receive the benefits they’ve earned." The Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act aims to provide expanded benefits for first responders facing illnesses related to their service.

Later that afternoon, Nunn shared details from an agricultural event in Iowa: "Great to join the #MotorcadeForTrade tour with Iowa farmers this afternoon. Hearing directly from our producers is the best way to deliver results that strengthen Iowa’s agriculture economy and rural communities." The Motorcade for Trade tour brings together local farmers and policymakers to discuss issues affecting rural economies and trade policy.

That evening, Congressman Nunn announced recognition from a financial services industry group: "Honored to receive the Congressional Champion for Main Street Award from @FSIWashington. This year, we’ve already passed two bipartisan bills to cut red tape and help Iowa businesses raise investment funds. I’ll keep fighting for Iowa's Main Streets." The Financial Services Institute (FSI) awards this honor to legislators supporting small businesses and community investment initiatives.

Nunn has represented Iowa's 3rd Congressional District since January 2023 after winning election in November 2022. His legislative focus includes support for first responders, agricultural policy development in partnership with local producers, and reducing regulatory barriers for small businesses.
