Congressman Zach Nunn, who represents Iowa’s Third Congressional District, shared updates on tax policy and fraud prevention initiatives in a series of posts on April 15, 2026.
On April 15, Nunn wrote, “We took Iowa ideas directly to Washington and delivered the largest tax cut in American history. The Working Families Tax Cuts are putting more dollars in every worker’s paycheck and every family’s budget.”
Later that day, he addressed concerns about digital fraud losses in Iowa. On April 15, he posted, “$9,000 $37,000. In just one year, the average total lost by Iowans to digital fraud has quadrupled. We’re delivering a one-two punch with our GUARD and TRAPS Act, bipartisan legislation to arm law enforcement with the resources they need to protect Iowans from fraud.”
In a third post on April 15 referencing support for agriculture and family farms, Nunn stated, “For family farms across Iowa, tax day this year means the equipment you bought or the farm you passed on to the next generation doesn’t come with a higher tax bill from D.C. @IAcattlemen joined us to highlight the relief we delivered for Iowa farmers in the Working Families Tax.”
Nunn’s office is based in Des Moines and serves residents across 21 counties in central and southern Iowa (official website). He has prioritized bipartisan policies focused on economic growth, support for agriculture, government accountability, national security, and assistance for families and children (official website). As a member of both the House Financial Services Committee and House Agriculture Committee (official website), Nunn’s legislative agenda includes measures aimed at supporting constituents through both economic relief efforts like tax cuts and targeted anti-fraud legislation.
