Des Moines City Manager Scott Sanders and City Councilor Connie Boesen today announced that a series of public listening posts is scheduled over the next two months to discuss the City budget and the distribution of federal COVID relief funds through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

The two bedroom, one bathroom home at 1311 Washington Ave., Des Moines was sold on Jan. 20 by Forest H. and Phuoc Thi Hong Nguyen for $94,900. The buyer was Gaby Dimitri Nshuti.
The home at 1523 Forest Ave., Des Moines was sold on Jan. 18 by Boulevard Developments LLC and Boulevard Development LLC for $20,000. The buyer was Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity.
