Des Moines home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Des Moines rose by $8,300 while total sales increased by 4.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 539 homes sold, with a median sale price of $132,000 - a 6.7% increase over the $123,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 516 homes sold in Des Moines in August 2016.
