Des Moines home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Des Moines rose by $5,000 while total sales increased by 0.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 1,423 homes sold, with a median sale price of $135,000 - a 3.8% increase over the $130,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,413 homes sold in Des Moines in the third quarter of 2017.
