Des Moines home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Des Moines rose by $4,500 while total sales increased by 4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 2,716 homes sold, with a median sale price of $133,500 - a 3.5% increase over the $129,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,612 homes sold in Des Moines in the second half of 2017.
