Graduates earn 295 degrees, certificates from Mercy College of Health Sciences

About 64.4 percent of the 295 degrees and certificates handed out by Mercy College of Health Sciences in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Moines conferred 172 bachelor's degrees and 18 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse programs.

Other popular programs include diagnostic medical sonography/sonographer and ultrasound technician, radiologic technology/science - radiographer and pre-medicine/pre-medical studies.

The college enrolled 727 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
