City of Polk City recently issued the following announcement.
City Council Meeting

The Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 112 3rd St. This meeting is NOT open to the public in person however anyone interested may listen in by calling in local 515-329-8019 or Toll-Free 833-329-8019; use participant code 593054.
Public Comments : If you would like to address the City Council during the Public Comment portion of the meeting, please contact the City Clerk by 5pm p.m. on the date of the meeting by email at jgibbons@polkcityia.gov with your name, address and phone number you will be calling in with. The Mayor will recognize you for five minutes of comment during which time your line will be unmuted.
