A man from Iowa has been arrested and is facing five federal charges following the Jan. 6 riot.

Doug Jensen, 41, is being charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct among other things. In a video that has circulated on the internet, a man who seems to be Jensen is seen pursuing a Black police officer.

Jensen’s brother has come up to clear his brother’s name insisting Jensen told him he entered the building lawfully and even took pictures with the officers.

“Doug has never lied to me,” William Routh, 54, Jensen’s brother, said, according to the Associated Press. “He has been a good man his whole life. He is a family man. But he is like the rest of a lot of people that are patriots. We have been being told for the last what, seven, eight months that if the Democrats get control we are losing our country. OK. That scares a lot of people.”

Jensen would not provide comments to local news agencies regarding his involvement in the protests. Someone that appears to be him was seen in photos taken by The Associated Press wearing a QAnon T-shirt over a hooded sweatshirt.

Jensen was employed by Forrest & Associate Masonry in Des Moines and has since been fired. A lot of protesters from across the country have either resigned or been forced to leave after videos or pictures of them were published on social media. An attorney, real estate agent and marketing employee are among those affected.
