Registration opens for Mayor's Annual Ride and Run

On Sept. 18, join Des Moines Parks and Recreation for the 2021 Mayor’s Annual Ride and Run (MARR)! This annual event supports our trails. Mayor Frank Cownie will lead the ride. In addition to the ride, Des Moines Parks and Recreation will offer a 4-Mile Run and Family Fun Walk to the day’s events. The 20-mile bike route will start and end at Principal Park (1 Line Drive) and will go lake to lake - Gray’s Lake to Easter Lake.
Cost: $35 per person (18+)
$5 per youth (5 - 17); no t-shirt included
Free for children 4 & under
For an additional $5, participants can enter in both the run and ride.
