PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This session will discuss the increased use and need for telemedicine services and provide an overview of health care information. The session also will discuss telemedicine, provide an overview of regulations and reimbursement considerations, compare existing telemedicine vendors and provide planning suggestions for health care organizations.

Karen Burns is the health care information technology strategy executive at IMGEG Corp. Burns has more than 22 years of experience in health care information technology consulting. She provides guidance for strategic planning considerations for new facilities, works with clinical and operational end users and the design and construction teams to advance patient care while leveraging technology.
Erin Care is the health care consultant and strategist with Himformatics, which works with clients to solve complex changes in the health care industry. With more than 25 years of health care technology, operations and leadership experience, Care has helped create successful ecosystems and infrastructures at some of the nation’s leading health care systems.
Corey Gaarde is the health care information technology project executive with IMEG Corp. Gaarde is a biomedical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in health care information technology. He helps foster client and vendor relations while developing and implementing complex projects. Gaarde specializes in strategic planning and execution of solutions for facility design and transformation, clinical collaboration and communication, patient engagement, clinical workflow development, telemedicine and medical device integration.
Coleman Smith is the regulatory and compliance lead with Himformatics, where he specializes in health care systems and vendor organizations. Smith has worked in health care for more than 20 years and holds degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University.
