DES MOINES, IOWA — The summer edition of City Source is on its way to 96,000 households across Des Moines and is full of activities for Des Moines residents to enjoy this summer.
This issue’s cover story outlines prominent infrastructure projects as road construction season gets underway and the investment to improve Des Moines' roads continues.
This issue also gives residents information about the Des Moines Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge, a guide to help homeowners understand what house projects require a city permit and an opportunity to meet the Des Moines Fire Department's newest employee Yahtzee.
City Source is a printed publication produced quarterly by the City's communications office and is mailed to every household in Des Moines. A recent Resident Survey showed 80% of respondents read City Source each quarter.
