Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's 3rd district, has been actively engaging with various community and national issues through his recent social media posts. Nunn, who took office in 2023 after replacing Cindy Axne, is known for his commitment to mental health support and cybersecurity among other pressing concerns.

On December 5, 2024, Congressman Nunn shared his meeting with leaders from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) in Iowa. He stated that the discussion focused on improving mental health support to benefit Iowans and potentially save lives. "Met with @NAMICommunicate leaders from Iowa yesterday to discuss how we can improve mental health support to help Iowans and save lives."

The following day, December 6, 2024, Nunn addressed a cyberattack by China on U.S. telecom firms via another tweet. He described it as "a direct assault on our national security and the privacy of American citizens." Emphasizing the need for action against such cyber threats from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), he urged for decisive measures to protect American data. "China's latest cyberattack on U.S. telecom firms is a direct assault on our national security and the privacy of American citizens."

Later that same day, Nunn highlighted the importance of Community Health Centers in Iowa. He acknowledged their role in providing healthcare services, particularly in rural areas. During his meeting with their team, they discussed expanding access to affordable and quality healthcare across Iowa. "Iowa’s Community Health Centers are critical for providing healthcare, especially in rural communities."
