Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's 3rd district since 2023, has been vocal on various issues through his recent social media posts. A former member of both the Iowa House of Representatives and the Iowa Senate, Nunn has a history in state politics and currently resides in Bondurant, Iowa.

On March 12, 2025, Congressman Nunn expressed his opposition to the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule due to its impact on U.S. agriculture. He stated that "Iowa’s farmers know the devastating impact the Waters of the United States rule has had on U.S. agriculture. That is why I voted against WOTUS and am pleased to see the Trump administration’s decision to revise the rule."

The following day, March 13, 2025, he highlighted the significance of artificial intelligence (AI) in national security and global leadership. Reflecting on a discussion at SXSW Festival, he noted that "AI innovation is shaping the future of national security and global leadership. I had a great discussion with last week at @SXSWFestival on the critical role AI plays in keeping America ahead."

Later that same day, Congressman Nunn shared his appreciation for primary care nurses from Iowa who visited Washington D.C. He wrote about their advocacy efforts stating: "Spent some time this week visiting with primary care nurses from Iowa. Thank you to our health care heroes for coming to DC to advocate for resources to support the workforce and community centers."
