Congressman Zach Nunn recently shared a series of statements via Twitter highlighting his legislative efforts and honoring service members. Nunn has served in the U.S. Congress since 2023, representing Iowa’s 3rd district after replacing Cindy Axne. His career includes previous service in the Iowa House of Representatives and the Iowa Senate, and he is a graduate of Drake University.

On April 4, 2025, Congressman Nunn emphasized the importance of supporting young Americans involved in agriculture. "Young Americans who are willing to do the essential work to feed and fuel our world should be commended and supported however we can help. That’s why I’m leading bipartisan legislation to help bring the next generation into family farming," he tweeted.

The following day, he addressed the need for security in financial transactions involving digital assets. In a tweet from April 5, 2025, Nunn stated, "Digital assets are transforming how we spend money and we must ensure they are secure for every American. My bipartisan Financial Technology Protection Act, which would do just that, passed the @FinancialCmte unanimously this week. Next stop: the House Floor!"

Later on the same day, Congressman Nunn acknowledged the commissioning of the USS Iowa, celebrating its addition to the fleet. "From the fields of the heartland to the frontlines of freedom, the USS Iowa now officially joins the fleet. I am grateful for everyone serving aboard her and carrying Iowa’s legacy across the seas," he remarked.
