On July 10, 2025, Grassley outlined several Medicaid reform measures passed by Senate Republicans. He stated: "Here r some commonsense program integrity Medicaid reforms Senate Republicans passed: Stop duplicate enrollment Require erroneous excess provider payments 2b repaid Require more frequent eligibility checks Saves billions 4 taxpayers &protects Medicaid resources 4 vulnerable".
The following day, July 11, Grassley posted about meeting with constituents regarding Type 1 diabetes. He wrote: "Met w Iowans w Breakthrough T1D 2 discuss Type 1 diabetes awareness & research My support for the Special Diabetes Program etc".
Later on July 11, Grassley commented on broader efforts to improve federal health care programs. He said: "Senate Republicans strengthen Medicaid & health care programs by ending fraud/waste/abuse + prioritizing Medicaid/Medicare resources 4 Americans over illegal immigrants".
