Later that day, Grassley noted Senate approval for a resolution related to civic education initiatives. He wrote, "The Senate unanimously passed my resolution marking this wk as Natl Character Counts Wk The Character Counts program is run out of Drake Univ I hv supported it for decades bc its critical to pass on civic values 2 the next generation like responsibility respect&citizenship" (October 20, 2025). The Character Counts program operates through Drake University and focuses on promoting values such as responsibility and citizenship among youth.

In another post he stated, "Americans on the Federal marketplace/exchange that are between 133%-400% above the poverty line will keep their subsidies in 2026 as that is permanent law" (October 20, 2025). This refers to provisions under federal law ensuring ongoing financial assistance for qualifying individuals purchasing health coverage through government marketplaces.
