Senator Chuck Grassley's staff will conduct traveling office hours across 31 counties in Iowa from July 28 to August 4. This initiative aims to provide assistance to Iowans dealing with federal agencies or those wishing to share their views.
Senator Grassley himself will not attend these sessions, but his regional directors, including Rochelle Fuller from Cedar Rapids, Penny Vacek from Davenport, Noah Schrad from Des Moines, Jacob Bossman from Sioux City, and Matt Rector from Waterloo, will be present.
Grassley emphasized the importance of maintaining communication with constituents: "For 45 years, I've made it a point to hold at least one meeting in every county, every year. I can't meet face-to-face with all three million Iowans, so in addition to mail and telephone communication, my staff holds traveling office hours to ensure my constituents’ concerns are heard and their problems are addressed," he stated. He encouraged residents needing assistance to visit during these hours or contact his offices directly.
The schedule for the traveling office hours spans several days and includes multiple counties each day. Specific times and locations have been detailed for each session.
