Senator Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa and long-time advocate for whistleblower protections, highlighted his recent activities in support of whistleblowers and his engagement with law clerks through several posts on July 31, 2025.

In a post early that day, Grassley wrote about meeting with the founders of the National Whistleblower Center. He stated, "mtg w founders of the Natl whistleblower center I'm proud 2 help many of them get their jobs back after EXPOSING THE TRUTH as whistleblowers They shared w me how our working together has made a big impact on their lives" (July 31, 2025).

Later, he participated in an event recognizing National Whistleblower Day. In another message posted to social media, Grassley said, "2day I spoke @ natl whistleblower day event 2 recognize the brave men & women who risk their reputation & too often their job Thank u 4 shining a light on fraud & often saving taxpayer $$$" (July 31, 2025).

Grassley also mentioned spending time with his summer law clerks. He wrote: "Enjoyed the opportunity to sit down w my summer law clerks who are helping me serve the ppl of Iowa & the Senate Judiciary Cmte" (July 31, 2025).

Grassley's involvement in promoting whistleblower rights is longstanding. As a senior member of the U.S. Senate and ranking member of key committees such as the Senate Judiciary Committee, he has supported legislative efforts aimed at protecting individuals who expose wrongdoing within government and private organizations.
