Senator Chuck Grassley shared updates from his ongoing #99countymeetings tour across Iowa in a series of posts on August 13, 2025. The tweets highlighted interactions with local media and constituents, as well as his views on energy policy.

In one post dated August 13, 2025, Grassley marked a milestone for an Iowa radio station: "2day in Mills Co I had the chance to wish KMA radio staff & listeners a happy 100th bday when they covered my county mtg in Hastings Thx KMA for all u do to keep Iowans informed #99countymeetings".

Later that day, Grassley described a meeting with residents in Cherokee: "Tour/Q&A at Nor-Am in Cherokee 30ppl issues: Farm Bill Medicaid public broadcasting interest rates trade immigration etc #99countymeetings https://t.co/sQzBCB6q52" (August 13, 2025).

On the same date, he addressed national energy policy concerns: "Energy dominance means ALL of the above & all of the below energy components Unleash American energy don’t suffocate it thru extra govt regs" (August 13, 2025).

Grassley's #99countymeetings is an annual tradition where he visits each of Iowa's counties to meet with constituents and discuss local and national issues. As Iowa's senior U.S. Senator and one of the longest-serving members of Congress, Grassley's meetings often cover topics relevant to rural communities such as agriculture policy and federal regulations.
