Congressman Zach Nunn highlighted several community-focused initiatives in a series of social media posts on August 18, 2025. Nunn, who represents Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, addressed issues ranging from local banking support to housing affordability and community engagement at the Iowa State Fair.

In a post on August 18, Nunn wrote: "Showcased Iowa’s hometown banks last week with @AdamGreggIA, CEO of the @iowabankers, and leaders from Georgia and Kansas. Iowa leads the way on Main Street lending by supporting small businesses, strengthening families, and growing our communities."

Later that day, he commented on housing challenges in rural areas: "Owning a home feels out of reach for too many Iowans, especially in our rural communities. Our bill addresses this challenge head on, eliminating red tape and streamlining USDA housing projects to help families afford a home and raise their families right here in Iowa." Housing affordability remains a key concern across rural America as costs rise faster than incomes for many residents.

In another post reflecting on his participation at the state fair, Nunn stated: "The @IowaStateFair never disappoints. A few highlights from last week:

Treating the kiddos to ice cream

Shaking hands with Iowans

Talking with seniors about No Tax on Social Security

Honoring veterans’ service to our country" The Iowa State Fair is an annual event known for its political significance and tradition of connecting elected officials with constituents.

Zach Nunn has served as U.S. Representative for Iowa’s 3rd district since January 2023 after previously serving in the Iowa State Senate.
