On August 21, 2025, Nunn shared that Iowans from various communities have been providing feedback regarding recent investments secured for families, workers, small businesses, and farmers. He wrote, "We're hearing from Iowans across our communities about the investments we secured for families, workers, small businesses, and farmers in the Big Beautiful Bill. Later that same day, Nunn addressed international developments concerning ongoing conflict involving Russia and Ukraine. In a post dated August 21, he stated: "President Trump met with both Putin and Zelenskyy in the last week with one goal: ending this war. If Putin doesn’t come to the table and put an end to the killing, our PEACE Act will give President Trump new tools to shut down the cash behind Russia's war machine."
On August 22, 2025, Nunn discussed tax policy changes affecting service industry workers in Iowa. He wrote: "Erika is a waitress in Ankeny, IA, and thanks to No Tax On Tips, she gets to keep every dollar from every tip she earns. For Erika and thousands of hospitality and service workers across Iowa, that means higher take-home pay and more money staying right here in our communities."
Nunn has served as U.S. Representative for Iowa’s 3rd district since January 2023 after defeating incumbent Cindy Axne in the November 2022 election.
