Congressman Zach Nunn, who represents Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, shared a series of updates on September 19, 2025, highlighting recent events and legislative efforts in his state.

In recognition of National POW/MIA Recognition Day, Nunn posted: "On National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor the heroes who were held as prisoners of war, those still missing in action, and the families who carry their legacy. Their courage will not be forgotten, and their sacrifice will never be overlooked. " (September 19, 2025).

Later that day, he addressed ongoing agricultural activities in Iowa: "Harvest season is already underway in Madison County, where we held a roundtable last week to hear directly from Iowans about the challenges and opportunities ahead. I'll keep taking your input back to Washington as we fight for Iowa's farmers, families, and rural communities." (September 19, 2025).

Nunn also highlighted his engagement with local business leaders: "It was great to meet with @IowaABI to discuss the legislation we've passed this year to support small businesses, and strengthen Iowa's workforce. Together, we're building a stronger economy that works for every Iowan." (September 19, 2025).

National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed annually in the United States to honor prisoners of war and those missing in action from all conflicts. Congressman Nunn has previously focused on supporting veterans and military families through legislative initiatives.

Agriculture remains a key part of Iowa's economy. Harvest season is an important period for farmers across the state as they gather crops and address issues such as market access and weather challenges.
