In a post from September 19, Grassley stated, "21,000 babies r stillborn each yr in USA devastating parents I joined Sen Merkley & Rep Hinson 2 introduce a res recognizing Natl Stillbirth Prevention & Awareness Day & highlighting how resources like Grassley/Hinson maternal and child health law r working2 to prevent tragedies". The senator referenced his collaboration with Senator Jeff Merkley and Representative Ashley Hinson on a resolution for National Stillbirth Prevention & Awareness Day. He also mentioned the role of the Grassley/Hinson maternal and child health law in addressing this issue.

Later that day, Grassley posted about meeting with Charlie from Hartig Rx in Dubuque. He wrote, "Met with Charlie with Hartig Rx in Dubuque Discussed my work on PBM reform + my bipartisan Pharmacy & Medically Underserved Areas Enhancement bill etc https://t.co/d1jwzKGYg3". In this meeting, topics included pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reform and legislation aimed at improving pharmacy services in underserved areas.

Grassley also reported on discussions with Cedar Valley Hospice. In his words: "Met w Cedar Valley Hospice Discussed Telehealth Dementia care model Private equity Medicare Advantage etc https://t.co/2DoJVtuGTz". Issues addressed included telehealth services for dementia care, private equity involvement in healthcare, and Medicare Advantage plans.

Stillbirth remains a significant concern in the United States.
