Senator Chuck Grassley posted a series of messages on his social media account addressing international child abductions, judicial standards regarding artificial intelligence, and a recent meeting with constituents.

On October 10, 2025, Grassley expressed gratitude to the former First Lady for her advocacy concerning Ukrainian children. He wrote, "BIG THX 2 First Lady Melania Trump 4 bringing attention 2 stolen Ukrainian kids & 4 your work reuniting some kids w/parents 20,000+ children being held in Russia ALL need 2b returned home".

Later that day, Grassley commented on developments in New York courts related to artificial intelligence. He stated, "Glad 2see NY Courts addressing judges’ AI use As Judic Cmte chair I sent letters to 2 fed judges who appeared to draft sloppy court orders that may hv involved AI They even included bogus citations/fake parties/etc Courts must maintain highest standard of precision+honesty". Grassley serves as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

On October 11, Grassley shared an update about his engagement with education representatives from Iowa. He posted, "Yesterday I had a mtg w Iowans representing the Natl Edu Association https://t.co/B6c2B1ExSi".

The issue of Ukrainian children being taken to Russia has drawn international concern since the start of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in February 2022. Human rights organizations and governments have called for the return of these children to their families. The topic has been discussed at forums such as the United Nations Security Council.

Recent advances in artificial intelligence have raised questions about its use in legal proceedings. Several cases have emerged where AI-generated content was found in court documents or decisions, prompting calls for greater oversight and standards within the judiciary.

Grassley's meeting with members of the National Education Association reflects ongoing discussions between lawmakers and educators regarding federal education policy and funding priorities.
