Central Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on Dec. 30.
Beginning January 10, at 9:00 a.m., we will begin a Sunday study of the various denominations found within the Christian faith.
Christ, in his “Great Priestly Prayer”, prayed that all Christians would be one, but the Church began fragmenting long before the beginning of the Reformation. What beliefs do we share in common and how are we different? Can we work together, while maintaining our uniqueness in worship style and interpretations of the Gospel? Can we together be Christ’s body in this world? If you have a particular denomination or group that you would like to discuss, please email the church office. On January 10, we will begin by looking at the beliefs and worship of our brothers and sisters within the Lutheran Church.
Adult Education Class – Sundays, 9:00 a.m., via ZOOM. Sheryl Puderbaugh, interim director of adult education and mission, will lead the discussion.
