Congressman Zach Nunn, who has been representing Iowa's 3rd district since 2023, recently expressed his views on several national and religious issues through a series of tweets.

On March 5, 2025, Nunn addressed the consequences of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, referencing justice for Cpl. Daegan Page and other American service members. He tweeted: "Justice will be served for the murder of Red Oak’s own Cpl. Daegan Page and the 12 other American heroes who lost their lives due to Biden’s disastrous and botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Thank you, @POTUS! "

Later that day, Nunn commented on former President Donald Trump's address, highlighting Trump's vision for America with an emphasis on border security and economic priorities. He stated: "President Trump laid out a strong vision for America. Tonight’s address reaffirmed his commitment to securing our border, bringing down costs for families, and putting American workers first. It is truly a new chapter for Iowa and America!"

In another tweet on the same day, Congressman Nunn marked Ash Wednesday as a time for personal reflection and spiritual renewal in preparation for Easter. He shared: "Today marks the beginning of Lent with Ash Wednesday, a time for reflection, prayer, and renewal as we prepare our hearts for Easter. Wishing all who observe a meaningful season of faith and growth."
