Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's third district, has recently shared updates on ongoing initiatives and expressions of empathy for recent events in his tweets. Nunn, who replaced Cindy Axne in 2023, has been active in supporting legislative measures focused on health and safety issues affecting his constituents.

In a tweet dated March 29, 2025, Nunn emphasized the importance of mental health support for law enforcement officers, stating, "Every day, Iowa's law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. That's why I cosponsored a new bill to improve mental health support for officers."

On March 30, 2025, Nunn offered condolences regarding a plane accident, posting on social media, "Kelly and my hearts go out to the families of those lost in today’s accident involving a plane departing from Des Moines. Grateful for the first responders who have answered the call."

Later that day, Nunn acknowledged National Doctors Day with a focus on healthcare legislation. On March 30, 2025, he tweeted, "Happy National Doctors Day to those who keep our families and communities healthy. I've championed legislation strengthening access to primary care providers - because every Iowan deserves quality, affordable care close to home."
