Congressman Zach Nunn, who represents Iowa's 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has been active on social media sharing his recent legislative endeavors and local engagements. Nunn, who has served in Congress since replacing Cindy Axne in 2023, has a history of public service in Iowa.

On March 30, 2025, Nunn shared on Twitter his support for the DETERRENT Act, aimed at curbing foreign interference in U.S. educational institutions. "I voted to pass the DETERRENT Act to block foreign adversaries, like the Chinese Communist Party, from abusing U.S. educational institutions. This bill gives our intelligence community the tools to stop threats to our data and intellectual property from China."

Later that day, on March 30, 2025, Nunn addressed concerns regarding Iowa's trucking industry with a proposal for bipartisan legislation. "Iowa's truckers are the backbone of our economy. But right now, there just aren't enough of them. I introduced a new bipartisan legislation to help recruit and retain more truck drivers, which will keep Iowa moving."

In a separate engagement the same day, Nunn discussed cooperative efforts with Des Moines city leaders. On March 30, 2025, he posted, "It's always good to sit down with leaders from the City of Des Moines. Grateful for the chance to talk about how we can work together to improve the lives of all Iowans."
