Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's 3rd district since 2023, shared his perspectives and legislative efforts through a series of tweets on May 21, 2025. Nunn, who succeeded Cindy Axne and has a background in the Iowa legislature, communicated his initiatives to address financial policies and national security.

On May 21, 2025, Congressman Nunn expressed support for extending the Trump tax cuts, citing their impact on constituents. He stated: "From affording speech therapy to saving the family farm—I've heard directly from Iowans about how the Trump tax cuts changed lives. We're working to extend and strengthen those tax cuts to keep more of your hard earned money in your pocket."

Later that day, Nunn highlighted a new legislative proposal aimed at enhancing national defense capabilities. He tweeted: "In today’s threat environment, America can't afford a playbook from the 1950s. We just introduced the bipartisan FORCE Act to bring top private-sector experts into our national defense toolkit before disaster strikes."

Concluding his communications on May 21, Nunn discussed a meeting with Iowa's Edward Jones team regarding support for caregivers and tax relief initiatives. He mentioned: "It was great meeting with Iowa's @EdwardJones team to discuss how we can better support caregivers who are saving for retirement and extend tax relief for both Main Street businesses and working families."

Zach Nunn is an Iowa native born in Story City in 1979. He currently resides in Bondurant and graduated from Drake University with a BA in 2002.
