On May 22, 2025, Congressman Nunn tweeted about delivering results in several key areas: "Delivering results: Border Security, American Energy Independence; Tax-Cuts for Working Families: Ensures a $4,000–$6,000 tax advantage for Iowa families by locking in permanent lower rates Protects benefits for the vulnerable while cutting billions in waste, fraud."
Later that day, he expressed pride in supporting legislation aimed at providing financial relief and strengthening various sectors. He stated: "Proud to vote this morning to deliver tax relief for Iowa families, strengthen the farm safety net, grow Main Street jobs, and secure our border. This bill protects benefits for the vulnerable, cuts waste and fraud, and invests in American energy—where Iowa is already leading."
In a separate tweet on the same day commemorating Memorial Day activities with veterans groups, Nunn mentioned his participation in an event honoring fallen soldiers. Zach Nunn was born in Story City, Iowa in 1979 and currently resides in Bondurant. He graduated from Drake University with a BA in 2002. Before serving in Congress starting from 2023 after his tenure at both the Iowa House of Representatives (2015-2019) and Iowa Senate (2019-2023).
