Congressman Zach Nunn, representing Iowa's 3rd district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing national security concerns and commemorating historical events. Nunn, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023 after replacing Cindy Axne, has also served in the Iowa House of Representatives and Senate. He was born in Story City, Iowa, and currently resides in Bondurant.

On June 5, 2025, Congressman Nunn tweeted about an incident involving two Chinese Communist Party operatives attempting to smuggle agricultural bioweapons into the United States. He credited the FBI and its director for thwarting the threat and mentioned his ongoing efforts to draft legislation aimed at holding agroterrorists accountable to prevent future attacks.

Later that day, on June 5, 2025, Nunn posted about his participation in a discussion with Nasdaq Tradetalks and Texas A&M University Aggies regarding AI military integration. The focus was on ensuring that the United States maintains its lead over China in battlefield-ready innovation.

On June 6, 2025, Congressman Nunn commemorated D-Day by honoring American soldiers who stormed Normandy's beaches during World War II. He emphasized their sacrifice for freedom and reiterated a commitment to safeguarding the liberty they fought for.

Zach Nunn graduated from Drake University with a BA in 2002.
