On August 24, 2025, Nunn addressed tax policy changes impacting service workers. The following day, August 25, Nunn turned attention to healthcare workforce shortages in Iowa. He stated, "Clive Behavioral Health is a lifeline for families across Des Moines, offering 24/7 care when it’s needed most. But like many Iowa providers, they’re facing a critical nursing shortage. On August 26, Nunn commemorated the anniversary of the end of America's longest war and honored those lost during the withdrawal from Afghanistan. He posted, "Four years ago today, America’s longest war ended with tragedy. 13 U.S. servicemembers, including Red Oak's own Corporal Daegan Page, were killed as they worked to evacuate U.S. personnel and allies.
