Senator Chuck Grassley, a Republican representing Iowa and a long-time advocate for whistleblower protections, announced on his social media account that ten FBI whistleblowers will receive compensation following retaliation they faced. In a post dated August 26, 2025, Grassley wrote: "BIG VICTORY 4 WHISTLEBLOWERS After months of my negotiating w the admin 10 FBI WBs will now b compensated for the retaliation they suffered Thx Bondi/Blanche/Patel/Bongino for ur efforts to do right by these 10 Still more WBs who need help THIS SENATOR WONT GIVE UP on them".

Later that evening, Grassley provided additional details about the circumstances faced by the whistleblowers. On August 26, 2025, he stated: "These 10 WBs collectively suffered 12 YRS WORTH of unjustified suspension time They were punished bc of their disclosures/political beliefs In other words they were treated like skunks at a picnic Now they receive justice".

The following day, Grassley addressed an unrelated incident involving violence at a Minneapolis school. On August 27, 2025, he posted: "Awful news w the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis No one is going to tell me who I can or can’t pray for I believe in the power of prayer

Im praying for the Annunciation school community".

Grassley's public advocacy for whistleblower rights has spanned decades. He has played a key role in shaping federal policies designed to protect individuals who expose government wrongdoing from workplace retaliation. The senator’s recent posts highlight both ongoing challenges faced by whistleblowers within federal agencies and his continued involvement in legislative oversight.
