The Senate Judiciary Committee has moved forward with several judicial and U.S. attorney nominations. The committee approved Whitney D. Hermandorfer for the United States Circuit Judge position for the Sixth Circuit by a 12-10 vote. Zachary M. Bluestone, Joshua M. Divine, Maria A. Lanahan, and Cristian M. Stevens were each advanced as nominees for United States District Judge positions in the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, also by 12-10 votes.
Additionally, Bart McKay Davis was advanced as nominee for United States Attorney for the District of Idaho by a voice vote, and David Metcalf was advanced as nominee for United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania by a voice vote.
