Des Moines Parks and Recreation comprehensive plan receives high honors

LiveDSM, Des Moines Parks and Recreation's comprehensive plan, has been awarded the Advancing Diversity and Social Change Award Award from the Iowa Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Honor Award (Planning and Analysis category) from the Iowa Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Minnesota company to build ice rinks at RecPlex

The City of West Des Moines awarded the bid for two ice hockey rinks in the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex to a Minnesota company, Rink-Tec International.
