City of Ankeny issued the following announcement on July 21.
The City of Ankeny is in the process of conducting a transit study and public input is needed. The community is encouraged to share their opinions and views about public transportation through an online transit community survey. The survey asks a series of questions to help better understand residents’ transit expectations including cost to taxpayers and usage. Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GYB8Y6W to complete the survey.
The results will be used to help make informed decisions about what the future of transit looks like in Ankeny. Ankeny’s current transit services include Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) Route 98 express bus and Route 4 local bus, Ankeny On-call Demand Response bus, DART Paratransit and DART Bus Plus. This survey is voluntary and confidential. Paper copies and Spanish versions of the survey are available at the Ankeny Kirkendall Public Library.
